As a founder of a business and enterprise and one that has been going through many trials, tribulations, and adversities you must have the ability to focus, concentrate, in order to make your goals come to fruition. I have been through so many hurdles, as a start-up founder, especially since I am a first time founder in my family. It reminds me of the definition "self-made", the google definition is, "having become successful or rich by one's own efforts." This is exactly, what I feel like being a founder because I am utilising my own money, resources, time, and energy and putting it into my business in order to make an impact in the world. Lastly, it's imperative that every founder has foundational values in which you stand for in order to wave the storms and issues which arise that come from anything that tries to tear down your business or brand.
At RKease Company we have our own values, but our foundation is built on the pillars of rest, kindness, and ease. These are our values that whenever things go not as planned, whenever life has storms or there is a level of stress, I think of these values in order to endure and push through the tough times.
Music has definitely been a catharsis as well because whenever hard times arise, I can write about my struggles, my pains, my adversities in a song and release it to the world and other founders can appreciate the sentiment and chime in as well. Music comes from the word "muse", which means to be absorbed in thought, and therefore whatever music you listen to, you can be consumed in and it has a serious influence on your life. Whatever your mind is consumed by becomes the product of your emotions, thoughts, which then breeds actions, and those actions bring forth results which can either be harmful or hopeful to your life and your career.
That's why at RKease Company, we make music that speaks to our brand, speaks to our values, speaks to our target audience, society, and the world! This is how we overcome doubt, this is how we overcome naysayers, this is how we overcome, period. Its your inner values, your inner man, your inner confidence which gives you the strength in the heat of battle, in the heat of issues and problems, to make you overcome and become superior to your obstacles.
There have been numerous obstacles that have risen while building my brand and my business, but I stay persistent, consistent, and don't give up, so I can see the sun shine at the end of the day. With that being said, I hope everyone's day is full of rest, kindness, and ease! Peace! :)
