"Corporate culture matters. How management chooses to treat its people impacts everything for better of for worse." - Simon Sinek

Culture is captial, capital is culture, positive environment we don't need any vultures

Corporate culture is one of the greatest topics to speak about when it comes to working for a company or building a company as well. Everyone wants to be in a great environment, surrounded by great people, who have a shared value system connected to a common goal which can lead to having great results as a company. This has been one of the trendiest conversations, especially since COVID-19 and the Great Resignation as well, in terms of dealing with company culture and it's importance.

Corporate culture according to Investopedia is "the beliefs and behaviours that determine how a company's employees and management interact and handle outside business transactions." There are so many factors that determine the importance of having a great company culture and in order to break that down we are going to have a series of blogs going into what makes a corporate culture great and positive to work in. The benefits of having a strong corporate culture are phenomenal and your company really benefits from it tremendously!!

According to Investopedia again, (https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/corporate-culture.asp#:~:text=Corporate%20culture%20refers%20to%20the,perform%2C%20and%20handle%20business%20transactions.) here are some facts below which exemplify the importance of corporate culture and how it can benefit you in the long-run.

  • Provide for a positive workplace environment

  • Create an engaged, enthusiastic, and motivated workforce

  • Attract high-value employees

  • Reduce turnover

  • Drive and improve performance quality and productivity

  • Result in favorable business results

  • Underpin a company's longevity

  • Strengthen return on investment (ROI)

  • Provide an implacable competitive advantage

  • Clarify for employees the goals of their positions, departments, and a company overall

  • Contribute to the diversification of the workforce

Corporate culture does so much to benefit a brand, as well as a community and society because you can attract top level talent to your organisation if your corporate culture is positive and well-balanced. People hate working for toxic company cultures and I have spoken about that in previous blogs before, but I am going to do another series on it, soon as well.

Overall, a positive corporate culture is great for business and can help put you over the competition if done correctly. I hope you enjoy my blog, and stay tuned for more tomorrow, peace!!
