"You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice" - Bob Marley

Heart of a lion, so my mind's at ease, reaching my goals because I believe.

Being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. I have this book which I read on a consistent basis which is called Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and within the book he breaks down in the beginning how it's not the smart who get places, but rather the bold. For some reason, that always stuck with me, I didn't understand why and couldn't figure it out, but once I became an entrepreneur, I realised how true this statement is. Therefore, I started to do some research about people throughout history who were known as being lionhearted, courageous, bold, and it led to some fascinating insights.

Being lionhearted is a main characteristic of a warrior. Therefore, I studied different fighting styles and different warriors throughout the ages to see their characteristics in order to apply them to myself to being a great entrepreneur. I studied Alexander the Great, Samson, Aikido, Karate, and one of my favourite all time is Bushido. Now, Bushido is the moral principle and codes it took to be a great samurai. One of the principles that I loved is valour, which I took from a book called Bushido the Spirit by Inazō Nitobe. This quote is another reason why at RKease we get the mantra, "Rest is Reason", because in order to have optimal reason you must have a mind at ease and have inner serenity.

(RKease Mantra)

Here's the quote from the book which states, "The spiritual aspect of valour is evidenced by composure-calm presence of mind. Tranquillity is courage in repose. It is a statical manifestation of valour, as daring deeds are a dynamical. A truly brave man is ever serene; he is never taken by surprise; nothing ruffles the equanimity of his spirit. In the heat of battle he remains cool; in the midst of catastrophes he keeps level his mind. Earthquakes do not shake him, he laughs at storms. We admire him as truly great, who, in the menacing presence of danger or death, retains his self-possession; who, for instance, can compose a poem under impending peril, or hum a strain in the face of death."

This quote is the reason why our mantra and core belief is "Rest is Reason" because when you are composed, at ease, and have inner composure, there is nothing that can come your way in which you can't overcome, you can find the strength within to keep going and achieve your goals and aspirations. One of my favourite quotes from Bruce Lee is, "Don't wish your life was easier, but that you were stronger!" Rest is reason, reason is rest have to get the stress of your chest, off your chest!!

Hope you enjoy the blog, and have a wonderful day, stay tuned for tomorrow's blog, peace!! :)
