"The key to business is self-belief and application" - Felix Dennis

Power of belief, power of belief, makes you feel good, makes you feel like a chief

Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I have been tempted to quit and give up on my dreams consistently, but the sheer power of hope, belief, and persistence has enabled me to stay in the game.

When it comes to being an entrepreneur, what I am realising is that your power of belief, and self-motivation is necessary in order to actually sustain yourself at each and every step of the entrepreneurial journey. The part of the journey that I am at right now is sales, and I have been trying to do my best to be able to be the best sales man possible in order to actually attract business to get actual clients and customers to grow my RKease brand.

I remember when RKease was just a concept in my head, I was writing a jingle and a poem for black history month on gratitude called "Serenity" and now I have turned it into a full blown business. Throughout my journey, I have met so many businesses people, and came across so many different businesses as well, as investors, salesmen, hr professionals, communications professionals, etc. and all of these professionals have helped shape and mold my career to the person that I am today. Also one aspect that keeps me going is the power of belief, which I call this blog.

According to google, the definition of belief is, "trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something." Different synonyms are hope, optimism, reliance, faith, trust, freedom of doubt. Throughout my journey I have had many doubts, scepticism, and even days where I wanted to give up, but I always had the courage to self-motivate myself and keep the vision strong, no matter the obstacle. I remember when one of my parents asked me why I set up my business in the first place and that it takes too long to actually make money, so I should stop and I had to defend my reasoning as to why I should continue with this business. This was a serious stumbling block for me and I almost quit, but I took reflected on all the hard work that I put in, all the books that I have read, all the dark moments when no one believed but me, and it enabled me to keep going despite the negative feedback. This is the power of belief, and like it even says in the bible, believe and upbraid not, I have taken it as one of my cornerstone foundations and haven't looked back ever since.

I hope you enjoy the blog, and stay tuned for more tomorrow, peace!! :)
