Sports, playing games, fixing your mental health, you'll never be the same


Another form of stress management, and a great technique that I apply to my daily routine and life is playing SPORTS. Sports are a phenomenal way to be able to relax, ease stress, cope, and get connected with like-minded individuals. For me growing up, I was an avid basketball player and student athlete. I consistently, played basketball all the time and trained in order to be the best version of myself and be a leader and inspiration in the community.



Throughout my training and discipline in basketball, I was never aware how much sports and fitness can actually play a pivotal role in a person's mental health and it has so many health benefits towards reducing stress.   • Improve your mood

  • Produce long-term mental health effects

  • Helps fight addiction

  • Helps with depression

  • Improve serious mental health disorders

These are all the benefits that sports can help you with in terms of maintaining a sound mental health, well-being, and reduce stress continually. Whenever I play basketball and I am shooting hoops, I am more mindful as to what it can do for my mental health now more than ever before, especially when it comes to basketball because through basketball it has lead me to other passions such as entrepreneurship.

Lastly, this is why stress management is a pillar for me in terms of my company for RKease because it has been a proponent in terms of what we stand for at the company.
